    A organização do Festival de cinema de Toronto anunciou novos filmes para a edição 2021 que acontece em Setembro.

    Além da lista liberada anteriormente (veja abaixo) tivemos filmes nas categorias TIFF Docs, Wavelengths, Midnight Madness, Special Presentation e Contemporary World Cinema com destaque para o longa brasileiro 7 Prisioneiros, com Rodrigo Santoro e Christian Malheiros.

    Na trama, o jovem Mateus (Malheiros) sai do interior em busca de uma oportunidade de trabalho em um ferro velho de São Paulo comandado por Luca (Santoro). Chegando lá, acaba se tornando vítima de um sistema de trabalho análogo à escravidão.

    Tem direção de Alexandre Moratto.
